Frequently Asked Questions
Who writes these recaps?
Drafts are generated by an automated pipeline that uses Anthropic's Claude language model. Every recap is then reviewed and edited by Hong-Bin Yoon, Founder of zzinDev LLC, before it is published. No recap goes live without human review. See our Editorial Standards page for full detail.
Is the content AI-generated?
The first draft of each recap is AI-generated. A human editor fact-checks, places spoiler tags, and edits for clarity and tone before publication. We disclose this openly because readers should know where their content comes from.
Are there spoilers? How are they handled?
Yes — season recaps inherently contain spoilers. Every recap page opens with a spoiler warning. Major plot twists, character deaths, and late-series reveals are placed inside collapsible spoiler tags so you can control what you see.
How do you decide a show's rating?
Each season's rating starts from the AniList community score at the time of writing and is re-evaluated during human review. Ratings reflect how we think the season landed, not just popularity.
Why is [my favorite show] not covered yet?
Our pipeline works through a prioritized queue. Newer and currently-airing shows are typically covered within a few weeks of a season ending; older back-catalog shows are added on an ongoing basis. If a show you care about is missing, suggest it via our Contact page — we read every suggestion.
Can I suggest an anime to recap?
Yes. Use the Contact page and send us the show name. We can't cover everything, but suggestions do shape our queue.
How often is new content added?
New recaps publish throughout the week as the pipeline completes drafts and they pass editorial review. Check the home page for the most recently added seasons.
How do I request a correction or report an error?
Every recap has a "Suggest an edit" link at the bottom. It opens a pre-filled email to our editorial inbox with the page URL included. You can also email support@zzin.dev directly. Factual corrections are typically addressed within 1 business day.
Where do the cover images and scene frames come from?
Cover art and scene frames come from official trailers and promotional material, used under fair use for commentary and criticism. Anime titles, character names, and related properties are trademarks of their respective owners.
Can I reprint or quote a recap?
Short quotes for commentary or review are fine — please credit AnimeRecap and link back. For longer excerpts or reprint requests, email support@zzin.dev with [Business] in the subject line.
